For our English-speaking clients we would like to give you a brief introduction to our office and to the service we can provide for you.

Amstelhoorn Notarissen is a civil-law notary’s office in Uithoorn, situated in the modern shopping- and officecenter Amstelplein.

Amstelhoorn Notarissen pursuits a combination of expertise and customer-friendliness.

We will happily inform you about our fees and we are always prepared to advise you by telephone or email or in an informal meeting at our office about every topic, concerning the field of a civil-law notary.

An important notice for non-Dutch speakers is, that an interpreter is needed when a notarial deed is executed. We will provide for the interpreter to be present. However, the costs of an interpreter (the hight of which depending of the language needed) are for the account of the client.

Please find hereunder a brief summary of the services we can provide for you. The services are divided into three areas: Family-law, Corporate-law and Real Estate-law.

Family-law
On the 1st of January 2003, a new heritary-law has come into effect. This law has brought great changes into our family-law practise, where it concerns the production of last wills.
Next to last wills, the area of family-law includes:

-    prenuptual agreements;

-    cohabitation agreements;

-    the handling of an estate;

-    gifts.

Corporate-law
Our main practise in the area of corporate-law concerns the incorporation of B.V.’s (which are private companies with limited liability), the amendment of articles of association of B.V.’s and the transfer or issuance of shares.
Furthermore, we can provide services concerning:

-    N.V. (anonymous company)

-    association

-    foundation

-    personal companies.

Real Estate-law
The area of real estate-law mainly concerns the sale and purchase of real estate, both private houses and business units or office buildings.
Other services we can provide for are:

-    mortgage on real estate property

-    guidance with a new to be built project

-    division of property into “appartment-rights”

-    division of property after a divorce or after dissolving a company;

-    drawing up rental-agreements;

-    guidance with transfers between parents and children.
